Itinerary
Early morning: Pick-up at your hotel in Cusco around 4:00 am and drive about 3 hours south through Andean villages. Breakfast on the way.
Morning: Start the hike from the trailhead with your guide, walking at your own pace across the high plains. Horses are available along the trail for those who prefer to ride part of the way.
Midday: Time at the top to enjoy the colors of Vinicunca and the views of Ausangate, then walk back down to the trailhead.
Afternoon: Lunch on the way back and return to Cusco in the late afternoon or early evening.
